Good afternoon!
I hope you all had a terrific weekend! I wanted to send a few updates and reminders about the next week. In case you all weren’t aware, I have been out of the building since Friday, and I will be out tomorrow as well. I have been at a two different trainings, and I am eager to be back in the classroom on Wednesday. Being gone for three days is not ideal, but it has all been beneficial.
Upcoming Events:
10/10 Walk & Bike to School
10/12 Family Movie Night
10/15 SCRAP in house field trip
10/16 Picture Day
Reminders:
As a friendly reminder, students should be reading for at least three hours per week outside of school. Reading logs should be signed and returned every Tuesday. This is a piece of responsibility that students need to embrace. Vocabulary tests are every Tuesday, and students should spend the bulk of their time studying at home. We only spend about fifteen minutes of class time studying, so it vital that students spend time studying at home. Lastly, conference schedule will be coming out soon. I would recommend signing up as soon as Mrs. McNamee sends it out. I will also send the link out again. I wanted to also let you know that if a time you need is not available please reach out to me. I will do my very best to accommodate.
My Best,
Alison Bedwell
