Good afternoon!
I hope that this week has treated you all well. Our week flew by with all of our learning, creating, and reflecting. It has been a fabulous week watching these innovations come to life, and I am so impressed with their hard work.
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend. As always, thank you for your support in growing your children’s fabulous minds!

I hope that this week has treated you all well. Our week flew by with all of our learning, creating, and reflecting. It has been a fabulous week watching these innovations come to life, and I am so impressed with their hard work.
- Innovation fair: I wanted to take a moment to thank all those who came out today to support our students in their innovation fair. Not only were there innovations creative, but their ability to present their information was amazing! I expressed to the class how proud I am of them. It was an amazing event seeing all of their work displayed and shared. I challenged them to try to take action on their projects. Some of these projects I could see happening in the near future. If your student does create their project or begins to use it at home, will you send me pictures? I would love to share their action with the rest of the class!
- Vocabulary: There was a type-o in this week’s vocabulary. I already told the class, but I wanted to let you know about it as well. On the list, it says “composition number.” It should say “composite” instead. It is correct on Quizlet, but I wanted to make sure you all knew. We try really hard to make sure all the words and definitions are right, but mistakes do happen.
- Optional math homework: I sent home some optional long division math homework today. While it is optional, I am encouraging students to try some of it. We have been working really hard this week on division, and it has been a challenge for some of us. We will keep working on this until our next test, but I think some extra practice would be very helpful.
- Snack: My last update/reminder is about snack. Students are welcome to eat snack anytime throughout the day, but there snack shouldn’t be candy. I have relayed this message to the students as well, but I wanted to ask for some assistance from you all. Feel free to send in nutritious snacks, but please leave the candy at home. Thank you for your attention on this!
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend. As always, thank you for your support in growing your children’s fabulous minds!
My Best,
Alison Bedwell
